TaskHub LLC · Effective Date: 07/01/2026

This page is maintained by TaskHub LLC to answer common privacy questions about TaskHub. It describes our current data practices and the platform features that support them. If you have questions about this policy, please contact us at contact@instanttaskhub.com.

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how TaskHub LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our SaaS marketplace platform, applications, and integrated freelance payment systems (collectively, the "Service").

By operating a dual marketplace for Clients (businesses purchasing services) and Freelancers (independent contractors providing services), we act as both a data controller and data processor. This policy outlines how we handle data to provide software solutions and satisfy global financial regulatory requirements.

2. Information We Collect

To operate the TaskHub LLC marketplace and clear payments safely, we collect three categories of data:

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Credentials: Name, email address, password, corporate entity info, and profile pictures.
  • Freelancer Professional Data: Portfolios, resumes, skill endorsements, hourly/project rates, and deliverables.
  • Transaction Documentation: Task scopes, milestones, messaging logs between Clients and Freelancers, invoices, and performance approvals.

B. Sensitive Financial & Identity Data (KYC/AML Compliance)

To prevent fraud and comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, we utilize secure, specialized third-party service providers to collect, verify, and process your sensitive identity and financial information. This data is transmitted directly to our partners via secure, tokenized APIs, meaning TaskHub LLC does not directly store or maintain these raw credentials on our servers:

  • Identity Verification (Managed by Third-Party KYC Providers): Government-issued ID (Passport, Driver's License), date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
  • Payment Credentials (Managed by Third-Party Payment Processors): Bank routing and account numbers, debit/credit card numbers, digital wallets, and electronic billing configurations.

C. Automatically Collected Data

  • Device and Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and device identifiers.
  • Log & Metadata: Time stamps, transaction history velocity, and task completion durations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We process your information under clearly defined lawful bases, expanding upon how your data is utilized across our operational ecosystems to deliver, secure, and maintain the TaskHub LLC marketplace.

Provision of Platform Functionality and Core Services

We utilize your profile information, professional credentials, task parameters, and marketplace communications under the legal basis of the Performance of a Contract. This processing is strictly necessary to create and maintain your account, facilitate matching between Clients and Freelancers, host the task collaboration hub, and allow parties to negotiate, track, and complete deliverables. Without this data, we cannot fulfill our contractual obligation to provide the software architecture that governs your marketplace engagements.

Facilitation and Execution of Instant Payouts

To facilitate the financial mechanisms of our SaaS marketplace, we process non-financial software triggers, such as milestone completions and project approvals, under the legal basis of the Performance of a Contract. Instant Task Hub does not collect, process, or store any sensitive financial account data, bank routing numbers, or credit card information on our platforms. All payment clearance, funds management, and transaction processing are handled directly by our integrated third-party payment processors, who collect your financial information securely and directly as needed to execute instant payouts to Freelancers.

Regulatory Compliance and Identity Verification (KYC)

While our platform facilitates access to financial transactions, Instant Task Hub does not collect or store sensitive identity verification documents or compliance data on our servers. To satisfy global anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, counter-terrorist financing regulations, and Know Your Customer (KYC) frameworks, our integrated third-party compliance providers collect this information directly from you as needed. This may include government-issued identification, passports, dates of birth, and Tax Identification Numbers (SSNs or EINs) required to verify user identities before unlocking financial payout functionalities.

Statutory Tax Compliance and Reporting

Statutory tax reporting and documentation (such as generating and filing IRS Forms 1099-K or 1099-NEC in the United States) are managed entirely by our integrated third-party financial partners, who collect and process the necessary tax information directly as needed. While Instant Task Hub maintains standard software transaction logs to track marketplace revenue, we do not store your tax identification numbers on our platforms. This decentralized processing ensures compliance with federal, state, and international tax reporting thresholds through secure, regulated financial entities.

Platform Security, Monitoring, and Fraud Mitigation

We collect and analyze technical logs, device metadata, IP addresses, and platform usage patterns under the legal basis of our Legitimate Business Interests. It is vital to the operational viability and safety of our marketplace to detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized account access, cyber threats, and systemic violations of our Terms of Use (such as platform circumvention). Any transaction-level financial fraud mitigation is handled in tandem with our third-party payment processors, ensuring absolute isolation between our core software architecture and your sensitive financial records.

4. How We Share and Disclose Data

TaskHub LLC relies on robust external financial rails. We share data only with the following authorized entities:

  • Third-Party Payment Processors: Your sensitive financial information is routed directly to our PCI-DSS compliant processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, etc). TaskHub LLC does not store raw credit card numbers or other payment details on its proprietary servers.
  • Verification Bureaus: Identity documentation is shared with secure third-party vetting networks to cross-check compliance and AML screening lists.
  • Marketplace Counterparties: Limited data (such as profile details, task progress, and payout status) is shared between the specific Client and Freelancer engaging in a transaction.

5. Data Retention and Security

Critical Legal Notice on Data Retention

Even if a user closes or requests deletion of their account, TaskHub LLC is legally mandated by banking and anti-fraud regulations (such as the Bank Secrecy Act) to retain transaction histories, identity records, and financial ledger data for a minimum statutory period (typically 5 to 7 years).

Security Framework

We enforce strict transport-layer encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and advanced database encryption (AES-256) for data at rest. Access to customer data environments is walled off by internal multi-factor authentication and role-based permissions.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Global Frameworks)

Depending on your domicile, you may hold specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access/Portability: The right to request an exported copy of your account profile and transaction ledger.
  • Right to Correction: The right to amend inaccurate professional or financial metadata.
  • Right to Deletion: The right to request data erasure, subject to the financial regulatory overrides stated in Section 5.
